Free School Holiday Activities
Monday 28 September to Friday 9 October 2026
Mahurangi East Library
This school holiday season, Mahurangi East Library invites tamariki to join “Stories Come Alive,” two weeks of free, creative, story-inspired fun running from Monday 28 September to Friday 9 October 2026. Week one includes a Stop Motion Animation Workshop, a Create, Read and Review bookmark activity, an Art Day with artist Sue Williams, a wasp-trap workshop to help save our native butterflies, and a Dress-Up Story Parade for the Story Character Wall. Week two continues with a Character Creation Station, Lego story scenes, a dance session with Lyrical Lit, a drop-in “What the Tech?” workshop with robots and VR headsets, and cookie decorating with Lottie.
Some sessions have limited spaces and need booking, so scan the QR code on the posters to register.
