Work on the renewal of the No.1 field at Riverhead Memorial Park is soon to commence.

Work on the renewal of the No.1 field at Riverhead Memorial Park is soon to commence.

Planned sand-carpet, drainage and irrigation improvements will begin from September 7th. The fields will remain closed until April next year to ensure a successful surface is ready for the next rugby season.

The work is based on standard designs but with a greater focus on soil drainage wider than the field extent.
