Rodney Youth Project
A Rodney Local Board pilot-programme started in 2024, dedicated to increasing the number of youth activities across Rodney. For one year, we supported local providers to deliver accessible youth programmes & events available to all youth in Rodney aged 12 -18 years old. From Oct 2025, 19 new initiatives were funded by the Rodney Youth Small Project Fund.
Our team is proud to continue the work started under the Rodney Youth Project and will ensure rangatahi all over Rodney get access to free and low cost activities like those funded by the Rodney Youth Small Project Fund. Our Play, Youth & Recreation Coordinator, Dan is already working with local organisations on some awesome school holiday programmes and local training opportunities.
