This Matariki we’re changing things up and making it all about whānau.
With the Sawmill currently on the market, this may or may not be our last Matariki here, so we wanted to make this one extra special. A night filled with aunties, uncles, māmā, pāpā, tamariki, whānau and friends.
This Matariki is for the whānau and friends of the Leigh Sawmill Cafe and everyone is welcome.
We have a very special cultural performance lined up to open the evening before the hāngī is served. We’ll be announcing who it is next Friday.
After kai, Ed will be spinning records throughout the evening while everyone enjoys a night together under the stars.
There will be a $10 koha per person, with all proceeds going towards supporting our special performers.
If your whānau can’t afford the koha, please let us know at the door. No one will be turned away.
