A Community Morning Tea
Join Our Village and the Rodney Community Team for a relaxed morning tea designed to support our local whānau as we prepare for the next school term. This event is a space for connection, where parents can enjoy hot drinks and kai while accessing or donating essential school uniforms.
- Date: Thursday, 16 July
- Time: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Location: St Matthews Church Lounge, 60 Garfield Rd, Helensville
- Parking: Available to the side and rear of the church.
Pick-up: Local pre-loved school uniforms (including Kaipara College, Helensville Primary, and Parakai School) are available for a koha or are free for those in need.
Donate: Bring your unwanted, clean school uniform items to help fill the racks for other families.
Engage: While you browse the racks, children can enjoy provided activities. We invite you to share your thoughts on “Why our community matters to me” on our Community Conversations Wall!

Thank you!
A number of people and organisations have supported Our Village to offer pre-loved school uniforms and provide a place of community connection and support. We would like to give a big thank you to our volunteers, local schools, Helensville Mechanical, Nicky Horsbrough, the Lions, Paper-Plus, Rodney Community team and the Rodney Local Board.
